We collect information you provide directly: your name and email address (via Clerk authentication), resume content you upload, job preferences and search queries, and subscription billing details (processed by Stripe — we never store raw card data). We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, features used, and general browser/device information.
We use your data to (a) provide and improve the Service, including AI-powered job matching and document generation; (b) manage your account and subscription; (c) send transactional emails (account events, billing receipts); and (d) analyse aggregate usage to improve product quality. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Resume files and text you upload are processed by our AI pipeline to extract skills, experience, and preferences. This data is stored securely and used solely to power your job search results and AI-generated documents. You can delete your data at any time by contacting us.
We share data with trusted third parties only as necessary to operate the Service: • Clerk — authentication and user management • Stripe — payment processing (PCI-compliant) • Hugging Face / cloud compute — AI inference for job matching and document generation • Job board APIs — live job listing retrieval Each provider has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Resume files and search results are retained to power your job tracking pipeline. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, secure credential storage via Clerk, and access controls on our backend infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure — we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance.
