Terms of Service

Last updated: May 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WorkSearch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WorkSearch is an AI-powered job discovery platform that helps users find job listings, score resume-to-job matches, generate tailored cover letters, and track job applications. The Service includes both a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Pro Subscription

Certain features are available exclusively to Pro subscribers at $11.99/month (introductory pricing). Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) scrape or extract data from the Service in bulk; (c) attempt to circumvent any access controls or rate limits; (d) upload malicious files or content; or (e) resell or sublicense access to the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by WorkSearch and its licensors. You retain ownership of any resume content or personal data you upload. By uploading content, you grant WorkSearch a limited licence to process that content to provide the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (including Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, and various job board APIs). Your use of those integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. WorkSearch does not guarantee that job listings are accurate, current, or that using the Service will result in employment. AI-generated content (cover letters, resume suggestions) should be reviewed before use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorkSearch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WorkSearch operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
